It’s amazing what we can do when we come together.
Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
May 2000 – Charity Children Center opens as Harambee House in a first floor suite downtown. The 30-bed facility is staffed by volunteers.
September 2002 – Harambee House takes over the entire building under the name Charity Children Center. A board of directors made up of local leaders meet to discuss the Center’s future.
Thanksgiving 2005 – Charity Children Center Soup Kitchen serves its first meal.
March 2008 - Working in partnership with the city, the Board purchases two abandoned warehouses on 58th Street and begins renovation.
The Church of the Pacific is an amazing place where all are loved and welcome. We welcome visitors from literally around the world to our Island and to our Church home. You will feel the love of God immediately every time you walk onto our lush property and visit our Church.
Our warmest Aloha.
